OUR MISSION
Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through literacy education and life skills programs, promoting self-sufficiency and lifelong learning. We are dedicated to equipping people with the skills they need to succeed—reading, writing, financial literacy, and practical life skills. With a commitment to #HelpingOthersHelpThemselves, we aim to create lasting change that uplifts individuals and strengthens communities.
Our PROGRAMS
Our programs provide specialized training across fields in demand, from technology, hospitality, and healthcare, to skilled trades. Through a combination of in-class instruction, hands-on workshops, workforce development, and mentorships, Montgomery County OIC prepares individuals to earn industry-recognized credentials and certifications, such as ServSafe and forklift operation. We focus on bridging the skills gap to ensure participants are workforce-ready and positioned for sustainable career growth. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From case managers to outreach workers, we work together to provide comprehensive support to our clients.
